So I know that almost every post I write, seems like I'm badgering my mom about something she's done. Yeah, I'm not the perfect daughter and whatnot but I most definitely haven't been the WORST daughter.
I have faults and I intend on adressing them. It's just that I'm not PHYSICALLY doing anything to be deserving all the bullshit that I'm being put through.
Some people may even think my life hasn't even been that hard. But I believe every person goes through many difficult situations in their life and they may even be totally different from the next person.
It's like EVERY other day or EVERY other week, there's something else that she has to yell at me about. I just want to scream! Dammit! Leave me alone!

ReplyDeleteHope u are well. U R doing a great job making efforts to see both sides of the picture. U understand that your mom is not all bad or all good. And that u are not perfect but u'r trying. That's fair. It's hard from your angel to see that what's going on w/ your mom is not about you. B/c all u hear is her anger, her pain, her dissappointment. Key word, HERS. When she aims her pain at u, move out of the way. When u do, she may be forced to look at why she is so angry. I suspect the issue she has 2work through is--->Letting go of u. B/c only lack of control can cause this much panic.
U R her daughter but u still need to feel respected. Make an emotional truce--->Set up ground rules in communication. Walk away or respectfully discontinue the conversation if u are feeling disrepected.
Don't keep hurting yourself being mad at her. She loves u desperately. Otherwise, she would not care one bit what u did. Let go of your IDea of what SHe is suppose to do for u or how she is supposed to be. People R not their titles. Clair Huxtable lives inside the T.V. Don't live in this pain. It will just rob u of precious time and memories.
